Bruce Arnett Sr. had been involved in the car wash business 10 years prior to establishing
Carnett's, first as an investor, and then as an active partner. He came
to the industry with an extensive background in electronics, mechanics and computers.
Bruce
Arnett, Jr. joined the new family venture right out
of college and helped with the construction of the first store. Brett Arnett came
to work for Carnett's in 1988. Dee Arnett, co-founder, first assumed responsibility
as CFO and now is the Director of Marketing for the corporate and franchise
divisions.
Over the years, additional family members have joined
the company. Elaine Arnett has administrative responsibility within the company
and Brandon Arnett joined Carnett's in 1999 after 8 years aboard an atomic submarine,
where he managed and maintained electrical systems.

Car Washes is now an enterprise of several car wash franchise outlets across
Georgia and growing! Approved to operate in all 50 states, Carnett's is currently

Another success story: ACES
While building
the Duluth Highway facility, entrepreneurial Bruce Jr. started to develop his
contacts with equipment and chemical manufacturers, intent on starting a car wash
equipment and supply company. From there, American Car Wash and Equipment and
Supply Company (ACES) was born. New corporate and franchise offices and a warehouse
were built to house the growing company.
Bruce Jr. has built
ACES into a company that supplies car wash equipment, chemicals, service and parts.
In just 4 years, ACES has become the largest company of its kind in Georgia.
ACES sells its services to company, non-company and franchise stores. ACES service
and delivery trucks are on call 24 hours a day to service its customers.
